Limits of EA113
« on: June 25, 2024, 03:30:14 am »
Hello, I currently own a MK5 GTI and will be buying a brand new engine from factory (AXX) soon. I am planning to push 400-500HP so I am wondering what the limits of the stock internals are, and which ones I have to change to see such figures. It will be a big turbo setup, most of the parts will be provided from RTMG. I am willing to change every single part of those internals, but id rather for it to not cost more than 20000 dollars in total.

Thank you in advance😁

400-500hp will need rods and pistons.

Not even CDL and BYD can sustain that power for long.  Stock Pistons crack and then you get white smoke out the back and misfiring.
