Terrible fuel consumption
« on: July 14, 2024, 12:13:53 pm »
Hi guys!
Wanted to ask you if anyone could point me in the right direction. Basically the most I can get out of a full tank is around 240miles when I baby it.
So far I changed and checked pretty much everything on the car. Yesterday did a smoke test and had no issues. Car runs fine and has stage 1 on it with around 240hp. Maf is new. Anyone have an idea how to check and determine the o2 sensors function?

Bump!
I looked at the fuel trims. I get two values at block 32. Value 1: -1.3% and Value 2: 5.1%.
I did a smoke test hooking up the smoke machine on the intake. Haven’t had any leaks. Car goes well. The calipers are not sticking. What are the other possible causes? I have a new DV and PCV. I get an occasional p0441 code. Did a N80 test and got this

New tyres all around and I did an alignment. Car perfectly straight.

-11% fuel trim at idle is substantial.  Should be closer to zero.  What brand of MAF did you fit?  Aftermarket intake?

The -11 is at the n80 test on basic settings 70.
Not sure what does this mean on the picture.
The real values are up above from the channel 32.
Just fitted a Ramair intake and the MAF I fitted was from Hitachi. There wasn’t a difference before.

Bump!
Could this be caused by a bad HPFP? My oil smells like petrol. The oil level is not rising though.
