Wing mirror indicator
« on: August 31, 2024, 05:19:42 pm »
Hi guys,

I've just failed an MOT on my drivers-side indicator... everything else was fine but I failed on that! My bad

Never had to do any work around the wing mirrors before, save changing the covers. I've ordered a genuine replacement from eBay, should be here Tuesday.

Is there anything else I need to be aware of? I've watched a couple of fairly thorough YT vids and it doesn't look like too much drama.

Thanks!

It's easy enough. Just be gentle when removing the mirror cover as the clips can break easily if too heavy handed with it.

I ended up buying a couple of the led sequential indicators off ebay for less than one genuine ones. Now my car is rad  :happy2:😂
Easy to fit as pudding said just go easy with popping off the glass and using the trim tool to pop off the cover.
