Hi all, hopefully someone might be able to help with sorting my issue.
This all come about after removing / refitting my headliner after resolving a sunroof leak.
Stated the car and moved it a few times while the headliner was out so none of the loom that sits on the headliner was connected, this made the abs / traction and tyres light illuminate on the dash.
After refitting the the headliner it was plugged into vagcom to check for any faults and none were present but the lights were still on, my mate put it into a calibration function (showing active function test 01486 (believe for the traction system but not 100%).
After countless attempts it just refuses to calibrate and shows the 01486 function test active code) followed the guide as best as possible for the driving calibration process but to no avail.
There at no faults showing elsewhere, all wheel speed sensors are working correctly and it drives fine except I don’t have abs and traction control.
As I mentioned the abs light is showing amber on the dash but when you hold brake down hard the traction light flashes to show test activated.

I’m at a complete loss as to what to do other than chucking it to a vw specialist to try and work out.

I do believe it has a later / mk6 rack judging by the paperwork from previous owner that was on here (pudding) so not sure if that’s a reason it might not calibrate.
As it’s been put into this mode it will not come out of it.

Thanks
