That looks like it vents to air. Might not be the best thing for a MAF sensor based TFSI.
Having said that, I went through a few valves, tested on a 1.4TSI CAXA, a 2.0TFSI BGB and my own 2.0TFSI BWA:
- Rev C - Stock, fissures after some time. Also the valve itself doesnt extend that far out so it barely just sits on the blow-off hole
- Rev D - Can actually hear it whistle under load. It's not holding pressure perfectly since it's plastic on metal
- GFB DV+ - Not sitting properly on the blow-off hole. When un-powered, even just blowing air with your mouth, it'll go through. When powered, seems to hold boost. On a 1.55 bar K04 tune it will throw a CEL due to failing to release boost fast enough.
- Rev G - Rev C but different material and the piston extends 50% further out. Quite literally perfect.
Go for a Rev G. They are using it to this day for a reason.
