Wheel arch replacement
« on: October 21, 2024, 09:00:38 pm »
Hi Guys, newbie here. I have owned my Mk5 1.9TDI for 19 years and it is now getting rusty. I live in the rainy North West of England. It failed the MOT recently and the garage were able to fix the rotten sills that were the cause of the failure. But the wheel arches are starting to bubble. Has anyone had experience of the replacement front arches (look easy - bolt on replacements), and the rear arches which look hard (angle grinder and welding in replacements).  Thank you!  Mike
