has not been added to the main listing of howto's and should be called non ED30 DV removal and refitting.

also from the main listings the

DV K04 Removal and Fitting should be renamed to DV K04 ED30 removal and refitting.

IMHO

Your forgetting all the other VAG K04 car catered to on this forum inc the other Mk5 Golf K04 Turbo'd car.

As much as I love my Eddy there are a few other K04 cars.

ok dumb question how do I tell if mine is a K04 or K03 car ? its a 57reg GTI mk5

perhaps there should be two links in the front page
DV K04 + ED30 http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,27003.0.html
DV K03 http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,87824.msg893078.html#msg893078

just my humble opinion to make it clearer

There is no need to mention ED30 when the turbo isn't solely for that car.

If yours is a standard GTI then it's a K03.

The K04 Turbo is in the Mk5 Golf special editions, those being the Edition 30 and Pirelli also the Audi S3 (8P) Audi TTS and Seat Cupra R and probably something else.

Just wandering if it would be a good time for the links in the first post to be updated as some don't seem to work, also some others that people have added put there too!
How hard can it be?

This thread is great. Changed my DV, plugs and PCV this week. All in under 10 minutes each thanks to this guide  :notworthy:
