Sent an email to the sales person who dealt with my original purchase today to see what she can do.

Bearing in mind that the branch manager said "only mk4s had build number plaques" Im not holding out too much hope

I went to a main VW dealer in Glasgow....THEY didnt even know what an Edition30 was!!! hillarious!

I was trying to price front lip spoiler, rear valance and side skirts....they didnt have a clue...i was left to go find an edition 30, note the registration number and give them it! ha ha ha...

Well...it was a "limited" edition after all....
