SEAT Help
« on: December 17, 2024, 09:58:48 am »
Hi,
The lumbar support on my seat broke internally, is there any guide how to fix or where to pull the seat apart from ? its causing me immense back pain and almost undrivable.. I'm going to find a replacement seat ASAP before taking the current one appart. (hopefully a cheap cloth one form a base golf or jetta.
The motor works but the cog or cable is snapped.

I can find an pictures or guides online for this, any help be very welcome

I remember a few years ago reading that what someone had done with theirs after replacing the lumbar support a few times and it repeatedly breaking, they cable tied the two pieces together and it worked well for them. Unfortunately I can't give you any more information because I haven't had one of these seats apart, but I hope that's of some help to you.
