Sticky Caliper Fun!! (looking for correct caliper recommendations please)

Hello again i just finished fitting new sparkplugs and coil packs to my 2007 Mk5 GTI to solve the misfire issue. Now the car has decided to grace me with another issue lol  :signLOL: the rear caliper is now sticking really badly. Planning to replace both the rear calipers for piece of mind and I have been researching what calipers to buy online and found these.

Would love to hear if anyone has bought these calipers and has any feedback on them? if ive read correctly TRW are oem???

Pretty sure they are OEM. I went for the R32 purpole ones off of Autodoc (was doing an upgrade on the rears to match the fronts). Looked OEM/excellent quality to me. https://www.auto-doc.ie/trw/2185018

Hi, yes TRW are the OEM brand and you won't go wrong with these. I fitted these to my 2008 GTI.
Just checked my autodoc order history and went for the no surcharge option (part numbers BHN952 and BHN951).
The ones in your link are the BHN951E and BHN952E remanufactured part nos. which means you will need to send your old ones back to them to recover the surcharge.
One of my old calipers had been previously replaced by a non-TRW item so I just went for new as worked out cheaper than if I couldn't recover the surcharge.

Good shout man i actually did realise once i went to pay they where charging me 70 quid extra as a deposit. Its actually a lot cheaper and less hassle in the long run to order the ones that you recommended and forget about sending them back. have you yours fitted long? no issues at all?

Yes and if I remember right you have to pay the postage back to Germany as well!
They've been on for just under a year and a few thousand miles. No issues at all. Great fit and finish as you would expect from an OEM part. Autodoc was the best price I could find for them too.
