Xenon indicator bulb holder
« on: December 31, 2024, 02:55:47 pm »
Hi, I wonder if anyone's come across this before.

I have factory fit xenon headlights but recently had an incident with a deer. Anyway, bought a used headlight of eBay that I knew had been messed around with but wasn't an issue as I have all the internals.

However, the replacement headlight is missing the indicator bulb holder. I have a good one but wondered what the best way is to tackle it.

Can it be de-pinned or should I just cut out solder together?

Attached some pics to help.

Thanks

An update if it helps anyone in the future.

I purchased these lightbulb holders on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185855954637

If the link is no longer available, search for "501 Side Light Lamp Socket Holder T10 T15 W5W Rubber Twist".

They fit quite well, take a different bulb. I'll let the pics do the talking

My preference would be to try de-pinning it first.

It looked nigh on impossible to depin unfortunately.
