Hi all..
So I decided to buy a digital dash conversion.. and the process is that you take the circuit boards out of your own clocks and transfer them into the new dash which the display is all digital, so needs no coding.
After transferring the circuit boards over to the new cluster, I plugged it in and started the car, Wow , the new cluster worked and looked amazing.. so I pushed the new cluster back in (while engine was off) and tried to start the car again.
I had multiple error messages on the dash and the engine starts and dies after 1 sec.. the error messages show... Faulty airbag and faulty body stability control ? I pulled the cluster back out and the plugs were all firmly plugged in.. I dismantled the cluster to make sure nothing dislodged inside and all was good, so plugged back into the car and still same problem. Car starts and cuts out with same messages on dash? Tried using my spare key .. same thing. Does this sound like an immobiliser issue?
