Hi guys,
I have a high frequency vibration coming through the accelerator pedal, worse from 30mph+, and slightly the brake and surrounding floor. Car is low miles, 60k. The steering wheel is fine, no real vibration.
I have done the following:
4 new continental tyres
all wheels balanced
hunter front wheel alignment. Was told the backs were fine.
I've visually checked all the rubber bushings etc i can see inc dog bone, engine mounts, drop links, cv boots etc etc and can see no issues or cracking.
Driveshafts look straight and original.
The wheel bearings appear fine, and spin with no grinding or movement.
Brake discs and pads are nearly new and seem to have no warping.
The alloys appear fine with no buckles.
The vibration is still there. I've had several mk5's and the others didn't do this. Car is stock.
Any ideas?
Cheers
