The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job. But if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house.

Cherping? Is it a beeping? A Clicking? Constant, or Intermittent?

It sounds more like a cherping mate. It does it about 6 times every time i switch ignition on.

^ Me too  :ashamed: :ashamed:

When you put the key into the ignition you will hear a "wirring" sound from the engine which is the throttle body aligning, and you may hear about 6-8 clicks as the air conditioning vents sort themselves out. As for a "cherping", i have no idea, sorry mate.

Yes everytime i turn ignition on.
Lets call the cherping a rite loud beeping sound then, not coming from the engine but through the speakers in the car.

The last owner had the parrot ck3000 fitted but took out the lcd disply that you answer calls with and left all the wires in could it be anything to do with that?

I would say possibly. Can you get a video of it on your phone or something?

I would suspect the wires from the parrot ck3000.

The "bing bing bing bing bing"?

That's the seatbelt reminder/warning noise.

If its coming through the speakers could it be an earth issue?  related to the lose wires from the parrot, are the wires bare? if so they could have moved and be in contact with the metal of the body work?

Or a noise or interference supressor on the stereo, does the power on state of the stereo have any effect on the noise?
