Edition 30 blue smoke on overrun
« on: March 31, 2025, 09:38:48 pm »
Hi all just looking for some advise noticed over the past few weeks intermittently my edition 30 on overrun (usual after going downhill) I sometimes get a blue puff of smoke out the back, doesn’t happen all the time but starting to notice it more, not a huge amount but enough for me to notice through the back window, I pulled the engine cover off tonight and found some oil around the cam cover and also noticed one of the pipes on the pcv valve isn’t sitting correctly, and anytime it’s out back it just moves instantly I have done the pull the dipstick and runs rough when pulled then smooth again when out back in I will attach pictures, also what should the compression be as I’m gonna do a compression test on it but haven’t noticed any loss in power or misfire, have also noticed a couple of drips of oil sitting on the bottom boost pipe that goes up to the turbo at the drivers side, car is mapped with bluefin also, any advise much appreciated also is dsg with 131k and running 5-30 oil.
