symptoms of a faulty DMF?

Can anyone tell me what the symptoms are for a faulty DMF, it would be very much appreciated.

Replaced mine about 6 weeks ago.  Symptoms are slip in higher gears, 4th,5th,6th and a general sloppy feel in the clutch, no defined biting point, engine revs dont drop properly on gear change.

Other symptoms can include vibration in clutch at idle and on releasing clutch.

What about knocking or clunking noises, has anyone had that? Think one member on here got his DMF done under warranty due to a clunking noise?

yes it did i had it in my hands  you could make the whole thing wobble/rock  it was bad

Mmmm intersting.

Would a faulty DMF make a noise as the car was just rolling along with the clutch depressed? Or a better question would be, does it make a noise on standstill whilst idling?
