Get the part nos and speak to Mike at VW Speed, however I don't think it's an easy job like the MKIV for a proper OEM job with the vents working etc.?

Joe made changing his mirror covers look like a piece of cake so I'm sure he'd do the same for the armrest.

Armrest is normally the first box i tick on the options list.. A must have IMO, especially if doing a lot of miles..
You still selling the car to your brother Joe, or keeping it now? (Sorry if you've mentioned it elsewhere and i've missed it
)

i would go to the dealer and save £30 ish though, dont forget if you want the back vents to work you need the extra parts, and its a bit more work to add too

I put the armrest in the ED30, bought the whole kit from vagparts, but they've gone tits up I believe, think it was about 250quid all in, but that was with a leather cover which was extra. Its a fairly straight forward job, little bit fiddly in places
