Been looking over the forum over the last few days, and it looks very friendly and helpful.
I Live in Somerset, anyone else from down these parts,lol.
This afternoon i pick up an 07 plate Steel gray gti. Is standard apart from I pod prep. Really lookingforward to pick up now.
Last year I had a Mk5 GT sport in the same colour, had leather and charlston alloys was a lovely car. had to seel due to finance probs. To say i was gutted was an under statement. I think i went to a couple of Vagowners meets and one in yeovil. But no Shows.

I have had a focus for the last 8 months or so. say no more, lol

This time around i want to go to more meets and shows, so hopefully will meet some of you out and about.
I don't like to mod to much, but may upgrade to mfsw, rns radio, highline and maybe in the future leather. Can't lower the car anyway as would never be able to get on my drive lol.

Well had a good drive back, enjoyed the sunroof never had one before lol. Drove really well am glad to be back in a VW.
Will post some pictures probably at the weekend
a bit miffed however that the i pod slot in arm rest isn't working . lifted it out and there is definatly wires connected to it. I gues my next step is to have a look behind the radio to see if there is anything connected into the cd changer slot. Do i need radio removal tools or does it just slide out once the upper and lower surrounds have been moved??
