mirrors update .. they match now

after getting my wheels refinished in dark steel my mirrors looked a bit "odd" so i got some oem covers from ebay in gloss black but they still was nt right so i got my mate to spray them audi quartz grey


  they are a shade lighter than my wheels BUT that was done on purpose cause they should be a perfect match for whats being delivered tomorrow ........................ :happy2:

barstewards!! I ordered the same wheels for the s3 on Tuesday! Then gaz did thursday! Haha!

i was lead to believe there was only 2 sets left in the uk and mine is one of them   :P  LOL  bbs have discontinued them in this colour

gaz slated my RS4 s saying they were too light they are darker than the ck s !!!! :confused:

they look good on grey mk 5 , there are pics on internet , dont think you llget new ones any more so you ll have to look out for some one selling 2nd hand

didn't exactly slate them, just passed comment, but thats ok cos I've got brilliant silver ones comin, been runnin dark wheels for 18mths so fancied a change :laugh:

where are you guys getting them from?
Rimstyle or PW?

would you recommend a 225 or a 235/35/R19 for a mk5 guys?
prices seem to vary between these sizes depending on manufacturer. Falken little difference, £10 difference for a goodyear, £35 for a vreidstein.

and me ! i think rimstyle have 1 set left in anthracite but they had enquires about them on friday  , pw had 1 set of silver and told me no more in antracite , ever ! :happy2:
was well impressed with rimstyle , paid on friday lunch time and they were on my door step at 9.30 am saturday (only down side 2x bbs valves were missing !!)
