Decent but cheap air intake reccomendations please?
« on: April 09, 2010, 06:49:51 pm »
Hi guys/Gals/weirdo's.
Took my car in for a service today, and once all was complete Jodie at Midland VW pointed out to me that there was a small crack in the back of my carbonio (think its fake) air intake which I had not noticed it being there.
So, as I am going to replace my intake, then I thought I may as well spend a bit more and get one that will make more of a difference, rather than just nice to look at. I don't have a very high budget, and am hoping to get the car mapped soon.
Can any of you give a reccomendation for a good, cheapish one for me and what the benefits/perks are to each one please?
Ta muchly
Al.

BSH trueseal is what you need if your on a budget. that'll give you some extra noise and performance ina  small priced package.  contact dubtek on here, i believe he knocks them out for about £150ish  i dont think you will fin moe for less

I am about a 15 minute drive away in Wolves, did not know that they did the remapping there, (though shoudl have really, as they do pretty much everything else!)

Will have a look into the BSH kits thanks guys.
