Just been to Tesco Extra in Portwood Stockport and the oil was £16/l. Took a litre bottle, self scanned it and bingo, £6.66. I bought five! :evilgrin:

My advice is to get the oil scanned as the £16 ticket price may be incorrect due to the price not being manually updated.

Just been to check at my local tesco but they didn't have the vw version in stock :sad1:

Thought i would go and see what the fuss was about last night, so i went t tesco's and scanned a litre. And it came up as £6.66  :jumpmove:

So i went back this morning to stock up for winter, and bought another 4 litres. Scanned it, and they  came through at £3.33

I went to my local Tesco, this is what I found

A 'Sorry not available' sticker was covering it but I asked the guy and he said they were getting some more tonight. So the offer is not a mess up, it's meant to be on. I think Castrol are doing it very cheap, it explains why national tyre and auto centre do oil changes using Edge 5w30 for £30!

I'll be buying a few bottles tomorow. :happy2:

Only one bottle when I got there last night. All the rest were 0W-30 or 5W-40.
