« on: December 04, 2011, 03:38:02 pm »
Anyone know if you can buy new seals for the rubber boost hoses, the ones into the intercooler and also on the smaller hose up by the turbo. Part numbers would be fantastic if anyone can help........

I'm pretty sure you can buy the mk4 1.8T seals so hopefully you can get the 2.0 tdi seals as well.

Forgot to add its a 2004 BKD engine and it's both sizes. I want to do all of them as there's 3 of them leaking - lower rubber pipe to intercooler both sides and rubber pipe from turbo (smaller diameter pipe) to steel pipe.

That's great Darren, many thanks !
I take it I need 8 seals in total, 2 of one size, 2 another size and 4 of the other - is that right ?

They tend to always leak slightly even if you change them for new ones.

I need to do this as well but was considering just buying the Forge / Samco replacement pipes and doing the seals and pipes at the same time.
