feedback needed - mounting for the liquidGOLF Mk5
« on: April 15, 2010, 08:50:45 pm »
Guys,

We don't have much flexibility to modify the mounting much, but we wanted your feedback before finalising the tooling.

But remember the volumes that will be driven by this product will be measured in hundreds rather than hundreds of thousands so are virtually hand built, cnc and injection moulding are just too expensive.

Thanks
Jim

Quick remider of what the liquid is.

There isn't to many mounting options to be honest.  Would you be able to angle it towards the driver. Similar to the vent it is replacing.  :happy2:

i agree, to have it leant towards the driver rather than straight 'into' the car would be more functional and beneficial?

I've been waiting for one of these for a while. Looks good to me :happy2:

A couple of "would likes"

1. A 10" please - I'm old and my eyesight ain't what it used to be
2. I agree that it would be good to have the screen angled towards the driver.

Golf R gone.

I know what would be awesome would be a box that interfaced to the RNS 510 on the video inputs.
