track masters today
« on: April 16, 2010, 06:23:31 pm »
just got back from this at castle combe and had a great day , soo relaxed with max of 8 cars out at any one time and it was open pit .

had a few issues with the car during the week so it was a rush to get there . all was going well til my 5 session was drawn short due to a boost leak , which was aparent on the previous 2 sessions as the power was dropping off .

really pleased with how its handling now but i am going to fit my rear arb just to help it . new pads were less assuring then the last set . gone from race to road but still pretty good .

here are a few pics .

oh great to see lee (chungster)

TM track days are always good!

Great to see gillm again. car looks mean and shiny these days lol

Just uploading my pics and will post up the ones the resident togger took of mine. The R is a hoot! Just needs a proper diff really and some better tyres and maybe brakes.

fixed my boost leak  :happy2:

i removed the fmic all together and it is alot better . it was a autobahn core with forge pipes the plan now is to keep the forge pipes and get a mate of mine to make a new intercooler , he made 1 for my old ibiza and makes alot of bmw mini i/c etc . cant wait to get it .

here are the pics of the boost leak , in fairness prob my fault for fitting crap jubblie clips , which in itself is funny as im always taking the piss out of my mate for doing this .
