glad it is working :happy2:

you could have got to it from the inside though, especially if you have small hands then it is easy

Good job

We did try to do it from the inside but it was too fiddly, it seemed easier to do it from the outside. :rolleye:

I didn't realise you had an evoms too :-)

I fail to see how the twintercooler would save weight, the THS is a much better solution.

Yes, swapped my Twintake for the Evoms, prefer it much more. I'm happy so far with the THS.

I had my Polar FIS+ Advanced fitted today, with help from my bf.

It was a bit of a pain trying to get the wiper arms off, they seemed pretty stuck on and we didn't have the proper wiper arm tool...

Fitting the Polar FIS to the gateway...

It didn't display in the car at first, so tried disconnecting the battery and locking/unlocking car (thanks to Eddie and VrStu) and it worked!

Just need to learn what all these numbers mean now.

Where did Romany get his Barnet from  :signLOL:???   :chicken:

Lol! We had to get Adam to run over and help us with it.

Looking goood!

Do like this mod!  :happy2:

Thanks Nath!

Another year, time for another MOT... Passed with no problems, no advisories, got VW to price match with Kwik Fit at £25. :pomppomp:

Me and Romany also recently changed our cam followers, both were last changed 15 months ago, Romany's GTI had done 6k miles and mine 7k miles, this is what they looked like:

Both running stock fuel pumps?? Or camshafts from both engine types are made with diferent camshafts and lobe tensil/height?

Never seen an BYD engine with cam follower wear, always AXX or BWA previously

We're both running APR pumps, had mine on for almost a year, Romany's was fitted a couple of months ago.

Managed to obtain a nice door ding after parking my car at pikeyville leisure centre. Finally got round to sorting it out today, it had been bugging me for a while. :rolleye:

After:

It's not dead perfect but a lot better than what it was, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore.

Thanks Banham. :happy2:

Your car looks great too, the side skirts and the splitter flow nicely together, what splitter is that?

....Looking at Banham's sig it looks like an OSIR front splitter to me. Like the one your boyfriend had and sold to me!
