Just bought a MkV GTi edition 30 (REd)
« on: April 17, 2010, 06:07:21 pm »
Hi all! Current MkIV 1.9 S TDI user here. Had it for 3 years. Great car. Old, and not so well powered. Have just bought today, and will pick-up next weekend, a 07 Golf GTi MkV Edition 30 in Tornado Red.

I am ecstatic. And can't wait :D:D:D

Anyone else got one? How good is it?

It's base spec I think. 15490, 35K. I think its a decent deal, if not spectacular - I needed to act quick in getting a car and nothing else around anyway (except for a not very good base GTi).

That's not bad, add another £1k from VW from what i've seen. I paid 15k for my 07 with 28k on it, 3 weekends ago.

Any plans for it? What head unit or any extras does it have?

Its just bog standard, I think. I wasn't too bothered - I just wanted a much faster car than the one I own right now :D.
