Shaun,

This is effectively what you need but it's not cheap from kufatec: -

The controller goes in the boot area on the right hand side IIRC and then all the wires feed out to the bumper from there  :happy2:

You need Can-Gateway version "L" or better.
You will also need new PDC unit and possibly new sensors, but probably not. Kufatec unit is expensive and you can get OEM bits and fit yourself for cheaper. Bit of VCDS needed too.

*I'm dropping into the weird Euro-English used on vwnavi...

^^^ do an auto scan the car with VAGCOM and under address 19 you will see something like this (taken from an auto scan report VrStu did of my car when he fitted the bluetooth): -

Address 19: CAN Gateway Labels: 1K0-907-530.lbl
Part No SW: 1K0 907 530 L HW: 1K0 907 951
Component: J533 Gateway H07 0052
Revision: H07 01 Serial number: 300308F2022338
Coding: ED817F0E4002020003
Shop #: WSC 01279 785 00200
No fault code found.

The "L" at the end of the part number is the version  :happy2:

Yep, I am just trying to workout the correct part number of the PDC unit and then I will get a price off the stealers  :happy2:

I might have to pay you a visit Shaun if you don't mind as I still haven't got VDCS  :ashamed:

i did know of an white edition 30 part that was going for sale, it doesnt have holes but im lead to believe theres marks where to make the holes,   that said i think they only changed the bottom part, im guessing the sensors fit on the top part
