Clutch pedal sticking!
« on: April 18, 2010, 02:44:54 pm »

This morning my clutch pedal has started sticking half way down.  Having to put my foot under it and pull it back up.

Only thing thats changed is the BSH mounts, Ive been driving it since I had them fitted though and was fine until this morning.

Any one know whats wrong?

Thanks in advance

I think a couple of your fellow cupra boys posted about this a month or 2 back. I seem to remember that no one had found a cure yet.

basic checks first but I think one was down to a narrowed hose problem.
Ill dig out the thread.

Mine did this after the clutch was changed, but I re-bled the clutch pumping the pedal, and some black stuff came out. Been fine since.

I changed the slave cylinder in the gearbox when the clutch was changed.

So do you just have the clutch plate installed and everything else oem?

yes mate. When I get the diff I'll definately be having the lot. Not that the plate alone has struggled.
