Best Tyres for all year round use?

(1/7) > >>

Hi there all, im new to this forum. I have a Tornado 07 plate which is standard at the mo. I would be grateful to receive advice about which tyres give the ultimate grip during the dry months, but also have decent grip during the frosty, snowy winter months!!! Cheers for any advice!!

I'm a massive fan of Goodyear f1 asymetricals.  They are superb in the dry, stunning in the wet, fine in frosty conditions but not so great in the snow.  I think the combination of wide tyres, an over active traction control system on a small car mean the gti is never going to be great in the snow.  They tend to be the most recommended tyre out there for the gti and have won many of the recent tyre tests.
