Have had the Eagle F1's

Dont rate them at all compared to my new Continental Sport 3's

Continentals all the way  :happy2:

I use Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for me they are amazing on Dry understeer in wet (at very high speed!) maybe my MKV problem not just the tyre..

but they last forever - amzing considering the way I drive!  :driver:

on my mk4 r32 i ran mich pilot sport 2's and couldnt fault them and were brilliant in the wet and sticky in the dry. on my mk5 i'm currently wearing Toyo T1R's which look very pretty tread wise and even though theyre cheaper than the PS2's they easily compare

my favourite for keeping the car on the blacktop is without doubt the PS2's  :happy2:

once ive worn thru these t1rs (which wont take me long on the cornish twisties) i'll be going back to them

I have Goodyear F1's all round, and have been really happy with them so far.  The only down side is I have managed to destory a front set inside 6 months I think.  The rear are still on 6-7mm while the front is down to 2mm.  Eeek perhaps I can blame this on the letter APR but after new fronts now.  Hopefully I can make them last a bit longer this time.

Pirelli P-Zero Neros. They're good in both wet and dry, and I'm getting a fair few miles out of them.

maybe rotate your tyres from front to back? even out the wear a bit

I think I would have done, had I noticed they were going that quickly.  But they are really too low to go to the back now so will just get a new set and keep my eye on them.

thats why i gave up with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s. they wore out hopelessly quick in my application.

I have no experience with the assymetrics tho, because the GSD3s put me off so much!!
