Decat downpipe or miltek sports cat downpipe

Hi all

what is the best route to go ? i have a decat down pipe . but also today ive picked up a full miltek turbo back system with sports cat and non res middle section . cant make my mind up what to do performance wise which one would be he best ?

The decat would give more power. I did back to back dyno's with my Milltek system before and after the decat and it released another 4.5bhp by having no cat :happy2:

humm no loss of lower down torque ? ill be using it with bluefin stage 2 need to deside as i will sell the one i dont use lol

I gained 4.5lbft too, but the torque came in a little later. I can live with that with the amount I have (see sig!)

dont think about it as a loss of low down torque,

tat can be a positive thing, with a little less torque you can expect to have more traction  which can onlybe a good point.

Did you leave it decat ? or with cat ?

Now with decat. It has been on and off for the MOT.

Well im going to make and fit a 3'' TB system decated but make it so i can fit cat for mot, havent got around to getting a map done yet, will the light come on in the mean while, while i am saving for a Revo stage2 map??

The decatted 3 inch downpipes can be had for £170 or so brand new off of ebay, so I would say yours should be worth £120-£130 roughly.

How come you took it off chris, will it make any difference a stage 1 car? Does it change the exhaust note much?
