i understand to do the auto hatch mod on the mk5 you require Skoda gas struts and ball pins, any particular model of skoda?

and can the software side of things be enabled via vagcom?

You basically need Fabia parts, Rocco parts and bits from a Leon

You'll need VAG-COm/VCDS
