mk5 GTI seats in another car.... A Skoda!

Hi all!  Newbie here!  Love the MK5 GTI - Dad has a 2006 one in black and it is VERY sexy!  However, I actually have fallen in love with the front seats!  Compared to my stock fabia seats they are SO comfortable.  Feels like every part of my body is being held, and the back ache I usually get in the skoda is non apparent! 

So I am determined to get a set of these seats in my 'ickle Fabia!  I would prefer them to have come from a car with blown seat airbags as the fabia has no side airbag facility, so I can get them packed with foam, and retrimmed.  Plus, they should be cheaper to start with having had the airbags go off.

The fabrication of fitting them does not concern me!  I just want a pair and would appreciate anyone's help with inside info.  Have cash waiting!  Not fussed on material/leather as well.

Oh, anyone want to know about the fabia?  It's one of the fastest in the country.  Turbo-Diesel running at 259bhp and 360 lb/ft, and I'm hoping for 300bhp during this year.  I love derv tuning, but after being in Dad's "GIT" I can see why all you guys love the mk5 GTI so much!  I just want the front seats out of one!

I'll keep spec talk in my newbie thread.  But to be brief it comes courtesy of a better, stronger diesel engine than my stock pd100 one of old, and a few bolt-ons along with some mighty fine mapping.

You might find the very similar polo gti seats will be a direct fit as they are pretty much the same car??

What would they be like to fit Keith? Very heavy compared with standard MK2 seats too

I think the mk5 runners would need to be welded to the floor as they are originally bolted to the floor and the existing mk2 seat mount cut out i think.looking at audi tt seats too.Weights not an issue for me as iam trying for modern twist to an old car sort of wrecks to riches type thing.
