....Though it's distinctive as an overall shape, doesn't it suggest a community who are more into the uber slamming and spacing scene, which many of us aren't.

Robin - It doesnt have to be a outline of a slammed and spaced Golf you could even have 2 options one slammed and spaced as per the pic above or one with a normal stance. The above pic is the closest i could find to what i had in mind

Stealth - Isnt this a MK5 forum???? I understand that there are members on here without MK5's but a majority do own MK5's and imo if your gona put a MK5GolfGTI forum sticker on it a pic of a Golf isnt gona matter.

Design by concensus is never a good idea as you cannot please everyone, no matter how you try.

So far military insignia is out and generic MKV pic is out, so what do we do?

How about a competition, like the monthly photo one and then get peeps to vote? The winner is the one with most votes. The only concession would be that VC would have to vet the designs to see if they are viable.

That's cool, don't worry about colour, all variations can be made depending on peoples choice

Fine tune it by using all capitals and a more extended font to better fill the spaces and hence increase legibility.

What about separating the MK5 into the black in yellow writing, the Golfgti in the red with yellow writing and the .co.uk in the yellow in red writing?
