Or slashed down the middle at an angle with the Union Jack?

Sorry, monte, but even at a short distance away all anyone will register and think is that the car driver is a German patriot.

....Use of the Union Jack tends often tends [edited] to look tacky and cheap. Use of any national flag will look just that: Nationalistic.

Unbelieveable!!!  :stupid:

Agreed that over use of the St Georges cross has made it look a little chav, but the Union Jack??  :rolleye:

I think the Swastika is a little underused nowadays and could be used to denote a German car quite easily.

Nath, I should have clarified my words about the use of the Union Jack. I meant to say that its use often looks cheap and tacky - it depends entirely on how and where its used imo - Just as Hedge has pointed out about the St.George's. Personally I think that if you are sporting a national flag you should be officially representing that nation or flying an actual flag itself. Me, I'm of mixed blood and don't feel British anyway, especially when I'm travelling abroad even on a UK passport.

Am liking that bottom righthand strip, Andrew  :happy2:

Just tweak it with a matching angled slash on its lefthand end imo.

Also liking the concepts of the others.. Especially the 'speech' bubble idea.. Tweak to make the 'pointer' a bit bigger and more obvious.

I think it's a little unbalanced in my opinion... not bad though.

I sort of held back on that one because the speech bubble idea has been done to death recently. I guess it is relevant though, a forum is a voice...

I'm liking that one, especially in red or orange. Needs more reddish red though.

...or a red background with a VW logo in a white circle... might mock one up after my exams on Thursday :P
