Ask the seller for the part number that will be stamped on it, then the Etka boys can check it for you.
There are a lot of copies nowadays.  :wink:

I saw this on the bay...it did show a pic of a VW stamp on the back of it ... here it is....



Looks like you got it for a reasonable price....if it were Tornado Red I would have jumped at it.

is that blue a standard ed30 colour? never seen it before....perhaps someone with a laser blue gti had it before and sold it on...

I'm pretty sure the vortex version has a slightly different lip

euro gt had the same spoiler has that,  seem motorpoint had loads at one point all with the same ED30 style lip on them.

definately looks like a ED30 lip spoiler to me :happy2:

The main difference between a ed30 and votex spoilers is that the ed30 is one solid piece where as the votes has a gap between the lower lip and top where it fits the bumper if you now what i mean :confused:

You can't really tell, even if they post pics of the stamp as the copies are made from a mould that was made from a genuine splitter
