Coilpack part number - urgent (water in spark plug hole???)
« on: April 27, 2010, 06:27:12 pm »
4 new coilpack come from my dealer.  They are sliightly different to look at.  Ill post pics soon.

Can I get the part number for a Ko4 TFSI coilpack pleaaaase.  (2008 seat leon cupra)

07K 905 715 F is the part number on the new coilpack.

Update.
There is still moisture / water apearing in spark plug hole 4.  It dries on the coilpack and looks dirty and lime scaly!
This cant be right, the other 3 coilpacks are always shiny...

It was picked up at 20k mile service by awesome.  The advisory was just water in sparkplug 4 hole, keep an eye on it...
After taking coilpack 4 out last week it was really 'acky' wet with dried scaly substance on.  Dont seam to be losing any coolant??

My sound proofing was sagging and scorching on my engine cover so i removed it.  AlsoI have no engine cover as i run ITG intake,
however its only number 4 that gets moisture in it.  Ive been getting worried its head gasket an the water's comming up from the water jackets but havent noticed coolant going down ??

i had exactly the same issue!

water filled 4th chamber (i had bonnet lining off)

took to dealer and they replaced the coil and left the other three the old style ones..

so its a revision part but i still did never work out where the water came from :( i ended up sucking the water out with a straw on morning :)

i have put my lining back on and the prob has gone away, especially with this nice weather.

my chamber is still all brown inside tho :(

Can't figure out why it's just number 4??

Might put a bonnet liner back on.
