No signs of blue smoke etc - It's not normal so needs checking out.

Anyone else got any suggestions what that would be due to?

worth getting a competent garage to go over the basics  :happy2: ic a compression text (dry/wet)

does it use a lot of oil?
how many miles on the car?
what oils in it?

turbo seals
pcv failure
worn rings
etc
