jabbasport golf Ed 30 to have hybrid turbo!!!

guys have a look at this thread

really interested in their car.  The mk4 1.8T guys are mad about jabbasport tuning etc, so im mega keen to see what they can manage with this Ed 30.  

They managed a 12.7 sec 1/4 at the pod on a stage 2+ DSG k04 with NO Intercooler, which to be air would put them 3rd on the 1/4 mile leaderboard, only behind jonnys stripped out ed 30, and  stage 3 Big turbo S3.  Not bad.

Seems like they also have plans for water methanol in the next few weeks :party: :party: :party: as well as their turbo being stripped off and modified to make it a hybrid :P :P :P

I keep meaning to do a proper build thread, but i struggle to find the time!  :ashamed:

I will be getting my turbo off this weekend and sending it off on tuesday hopefully, so i will keep you posted on how it goes.
once the turbo is on it will be custom mapped, (no bodge valves needed because the map is designed for a slightly differnt turbo here.... :happy2: )

I will try put together a build thread anyway

What mapping will be used for the re worked turbo??  Cant wait to see the results!!

its our own, its all done live on the rolling road to the car were mapping, all files are modified in house in peterborough (not far eastern countrys and advertised to be "custom")  :smiley:

is this the same?

Thats fine, i didnt manage to get out in the mk5 in the end anyway  :sad1: had too many police officers to take round in the leon!  :smiley:

Can I ask what type of emulator you use for the ME9 ECU? I have been looking for one for a while now, have one for the EDC16's but not ME9.

Would it be possible to get the same map from bedrock veedubs instead of travelling downsouth? Do you have figures for your live map, would you say its on par with giac/revo + maps just no controller? Cheers, Stevie.

Dave at ADS had a hybridised K04 on his ibiza, remember a housing came from a bentley GT iirc.

Its on his bench at the mo in pieces
