How lumpy is lumpy?  If we're talking about a small 'shudder' every so often with no change in the revs then this is considered normal for the 2.0T ...

mine has a small shudder when just stated and revs are around 1200rpm which i can feel through the clutch pedal when pushed down.  The needle doesn't move and once warmed up there is no shudder at all.  This is a normal thing then?  Thing is, mine only started doing it over the past couple of months?

Mine also has the slight judder every couple of seconds, only just noticeable if sat completely still.  Never really worried about it, and if others have got it then probably just a standard gremlin, as I have no error codes in VCDS, and no noticeable issues under normal or heavy driving conditions.  And I went on a little blast down the A20 last night to Brands Hatch.  :driver:

just got mine back from been in at the local dealers for the same problem.

they was unable to find a fault, they said it shudders around 1300 rpm, they have contacted vw about it and will be getting back to me next week with what there reply is.

i first noticed it a few weeks ago when the car is stationary.
Theirs no movement in the rev counter when it does it.

is this happening on ko3 and ko4 engine's?

injectors and coil packs are the main culprits for this is its more than just the normal 2.0TFSI "stumble"

Had a fone call from Vw today. They seem to think that the dieverter valve is causing the shuddering on tick over. Shud be goin back in to have it changed on warranty next week. Will let you no if it sorts the problem.

Misfires are 'normal' on the 2.0T even on idle, so this is what it problem is. Im not sure how it could be the diverter value when there is no boost involed?

.            This is what  I thought, when they rang me. They stay it also slighly shudders at 1300 rpm. It  Never use to do this so there must be a fault there somwhere.
