Yeah, the T710 is my primary server, it's fully virtualised as it's running VMware ESX and there are about 10 virtual machines running on it at the moment, a mixture of Windows Server and Linux builds. It needs some more drives though then I can retire the D-Link NAS once and for all. I mainly use it for testing and personal training as I need to keep well up to date with the Dell server management tools and different virtualisation platforms/management for work reasons (there is nothing better than actually using software for learning). The really sad thing is that I will probably end up with quite a few more servers running at home before the year ends, I just need board out the loft and make some room first...

The Latitude XT2 tablet is quite cool although I really have found very few reasons to use it apart from presentations, it really comes into it's own when used with Powerpoint 2010 and multiple wireless projectors. As for the whole touchscreen interface, it's great but the novelty wears off quite quickly and you end up rotating the screen and using it like a laptop most of the time, this is one of the reasons I won't be buying an iPad.

I should point out that the reason I have most of this stuff is because of my job, I'm not some sort of uber-hacker!

Another multiple Dell user!  :notworthy:

I have 4 currently - admittably, all getting a bit long in the tooth!

A C521 based Media Center PC
A Dimension 9150 as a work station, dual display for CAD/Graphics work
Another Dimension 9100 somthing rebuilt as a media server with 2.5TB RAID1 storage
An Inspiron laptop

Oh and a little Dell netboot for remote desktop-ing into the torrent media-server and Media Center PC.

All still running XP because it just works!  :ashamed:
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

I have a fairly decently specced PC.

250gb solid state HD for the operating system, 1TB hard drive, 2 x Nvidea graphics cards (768mb each), some posh soundblaster card, 24" Samsung lcd widescreen monitor, Altec lansing 5.1 sound system. Intel core i7 (not sure of speed!). 8gb fast ram. Bluray and DVD dual system.

I'll find exact specs when I'm at home.

Works lovely on Windows 7 64bit.

I have it hooked up through the media player for Iplayer and sky on demand too, so I can rummage through stuff at leisure. :happy2:

Okay the bits I couldn't quite remember are....

Intel Core I7 940 2.98GHZ Quad Core CPU (although I remember them telling me that they had overclocked it to 3. something ghz)

2 x 500GB HDD configured in RAID 1

8GB 1600 DDR3 High Performance RAM
Golf R gone.

Mine used to be relatively decent until the new GeForce cards/CPU's were released. As you all know its pretty expensive to keep up-to-date with computers but here it is anyway.

I used it mainly for Counter Strike Source and simple Office work.

Antec 900 Case
MSI P35 Neo MBoard
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz
3GB (3x1024) Corsair DDR2 XMS2 (Was 4Gb but damaged one when I rebuilt it.  :ashamed:)
Gainward Geforce 512Mb 8800GT
Hiper PSU 580 Watt
Creative Soundblaster XtremeGamer
250Gb HDD (Store most things on the external)

Haven't used it in months therefore im looking to sell it but dont know where.
