Have had these on the fronts for about 3 weeks now and can say these tyres are a vast improvement over previous. They were Dunlop Sport Maxx so not that hard to achieve!

....So does that mean you have the PS3's on the front and Sport Maxx TT's on the rear?

It is likely the Dunflops were the original Sport Maxx (directionals) - and not the Sport Maxx TT.

I'm currently running Dunlop Sport Maxx TT on the rear axle and GY F1 Asymmetrics on the front with no problems and I've just this afternoon driven about 100 miles of twisty B-roads (actually A-roads but hardly so) at high speeds including taking off over a hump.

4 new 225/40/18 PS3's fitted today so will see how it goes.
they replace 2 front PS2's and 2 rear Exaltos.
PS2's had done 19k miles (a record for me the last set did just 13k), exaltos have been on from new (so 44500 miles :surprised: and still had 3mm tread (Ive kept them))

have to say that i have noticed mine have worn really quickly. fronts are just about gone after 5k. has anyone noticed how bad these are in the cold as well? obviously i know they are summer tyres but of all the tyres ive used before these feel the most dangerous on cold roads. going round roundabouts the back end steps out more and the front scrabbles even at low speeds! they were brilliand in the summer but now im not so sure over all.
for the record i did over 20k with my pzero neros and they were good in cold weather and warm. not as good in the summer but maybe a better overall tyre..
Janner_Sy:
suprised they have worn so much. the treadware rating is alot higher than most other performance tyres. Are they evenly worn?
