First time it ever happened....

...driving back home. Drove along the same route I've taken for the last two months. Took the same corner I took the last 40 days in the same way except I pressed the gas pedal a little harder.

Next thing I know, the front end's on the other side of the road and the back end has drifted out. Quickly corrected the skid and carried on as normal, perhaps a little more cautious than usual.

Road wasn't any more wet than it had been and I took the corner at the same speed as when there was frost on it (only 30mph).

Not sure whether it was a proper skid or whether the back end just came out, since there were no skidding noises from the tyres.

Hurdy:
Sounds like a diesel spill. They can be lethal those fuel spots in cold wet conditions. :scared:

Greeners:
Never a dull moment in your life is there Stealth?  :scared:

Unfortunately not. Sometimes a guy just wants peace and quiet. Wonder whether it's safe to venture out and get some petrol. That tank's damn thirsty.
