Excuse my ignorance Mike whats a RS4 valve? and the benefits.

when you are running an uprated fuelpump and software requesting 130bar of fuel pressure you have problems with the stock fuel pressure regulator valve as its limit is 127bar, rs4 valve has a limit of 132bar  :happy2:

I see you have S3 injectors mate, much benefit?

I'll know after this weekend when i get the valve fitted

Over the top mod list ;o)

Are you APR software? Let me know what difference the injectors make, if any :)

I enquired about the S3 injectors but I was told not to bother.
does anyone have the part number for the RS4 valve?

depends what software you want
as i wanted APR, s3 was the way to go. perhaps if (when) i go APR stage 3 or similar and custom coding i will consider rs4 injectors.  :happy2:

rs4 partnr. 079130757

Don't really follow?  APR recommend uprated rods for their stage 3 100 octane file so why would uprating the rods and pisotns be a problem?

no problem as long as you only change rods and keep stock comp. but other pistons i assume the software won't be app

A different compression ratio would require different software to allow for the different volume, timing and fuelling. The APR software would still work, but it wouldn't be as effective

my own thoughts.
My reasoning is why go stage 3 over my current K04+ for app. 50bhp and no more torque??
if i go stage 3 i want more torque aswell  :happy2:

Sooooo, before I go back to Germany in the next few weeks its looking like my choices are;

2 Tyres - 888, R1R, Hankook etc - (have worn vreds atm)
Sachs pressure plate to compliment sachs disc, (£260 fitted)
WMI, (£350 fitted)
Forge actuator (£275 fitted)

or open to suggestions.  Im thinking about waiting 'till I come back and end of Aug having another mod spree....
