Definately the way forward mate. I know that Jonny had a similar power selivery on his 3076R. Less peak torque, more top end power..  :happy2:

Makes the car much nicer to drive for sure.. That's why I was interested to see boost requested and actual graphs etc.. No worries if you don't want to disclose them, but it would be the best way of showing the diference between the stock and hybrid turbo.. :)

GTI Edition 30 - Reflex Silver now gone but not forgotten - Cooper S JCW now.

We don't unfortunately. As we do all software in house and quite a small company in comparison to people like APR or Revo we just haven't got the resources to develop the hardware and software for DSG boxes. We're actually running Revo software in our DSG box.

Slight hold back with mapping at the moment, seeing about 370bhp and 350-360ft-lb of torque but not really making the boost i'd like to see at the top end.. Boost request is there, but N75 duty only sits at around 40%. Certainly not an actuator issue, more that the MED9 isn't opening up the N75 the top end. If you jump on the throttle at say 5000rpm then it makes some nice figures, but if you do a run from 1500rpm to 7200rpm the top end duty isn't what i want.

Cue what seems to be endless hours of searching through the software, I've already found a few other things that some tuners seem to have missed but have to keep that hush! :)

More info when it comes available.

Kev.

Is or will your software be switchable at all?

We're not sure on that one yet. Once we've developed this Hybrid software we can then decide whether we'd like to go down the route of either writing code into the ecu to swtich, like APR, or using a STS unit for customers to load maps into the car..

dont just look at 370 and think thats it, as you were expecting more,

iirc they made 348Hp on their rollers previously.  Now that equated to a 12.7 1/4 mile at the pod.  Alot of other guys on here quote much higher horsepower figures, yet manage much lower 1/4 mile times.

Now on the same rollers on the same car with a modded turbo, they are already makin 22Hp more on an unfinsihed map.  Imagine what that will do at the pod then.

Any comparisons betwee the two turbos can only be done on this cars before and after outputs, and not compared against other cars   because of the age old dyno lottery

When do you guys predict the finished product.

Totally agree mate. But I wouldn't focus to much on the 1/4 mile time compared with others with more power. As those were not necessarily running on semi slicks with only a drivers seat left in..
Still bloody impressive either way. But i'd of liked to seen what Luke would of run with full road trim and road tyres..

I reckon we can compare.  iirc djhorice was running track day kumhos and both him and owenLCR had their car seats stripped out.  Making a smidgeon over 13seconds.  Also hurdy uses semi slicks tyres on the stip as well.

Yeah, but Al (djhorace) is in a Cupra, so not DSG and Hurdy is DSG, but wasn't stripped. See where i'm coming from bud?

The best one to compare it to would be Jonny's Golf when it was a K04. His had the rear seats removed (not the front), but had carbon bonnet and a few other lightened bits (so similar in weight). His was also DSG and ran a similar time, being a 12.6.  :happy2:
