Cheap Induction Kit... Thoughts???
« on: May 08, 2010, 07:53:32 pm »
Hi - what are peoples thought on this cheap induction kit??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120563460692&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I know theres much better out there but just want a bit more engine noise.
I'm running a standard GTI if it makes any difference.

Steve

id say dont bother, at that price the filter is probably bonk and you also have no idea if the internal diameter of the MAF housing is the correct size meaning youcara will be permanently trying to adapt the fuel trims.

Id say save up another £50 and get the BSH kit i money is tight.

I have fitted quite a few of those actual kits for people, the filter isnt the best but overall for £60 its ok, works well and does the job without any problems.

Infact we have one in the workshop somewhere, £40 takes it.
