Calling all Mk5 Golf GTI Owners
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:49:07 pm »
I have been contacted by someone who's writing a feature / buying guide on the Mk5 Golf.

As such they would like to get hold of a car around 07-57 Plate in pretty much OEM spec (minor mods or wheels changes would be expectable). They would need you/your for around 1/2 day in Leighton Buzzard towards the back end of next week.

So if anyone is interested please post yours/your cars details here  :happy2:

Mines pretty much OEM but a little old '05 reg but if that works could look at getting half day off work.

Pearl black 5 door DSG, 17" monzas, xenons, leather, cruise, only non-standard is the Armrest top which isnt leather yet, and the RNS510.

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

Would my car count as standard?  I'm a stone throw away from Leighton Buzzard?

Im not far from there but not very standard.
Engine bay looks very clean and is standard, but it has coilovers, R32 brakes and a zorst.
On a plus note it has original Monza's and the rare bucket seat option

Completely standard white GTI DSG on 18" monzas. 07 plate...but its got a private plate at mo.

If he cant find someone i'd come down to help them out but as its 3hours away id have to be cheeky and ask them to help with fuel costs. (unless im missing something and being cheeky would be insane  :signLOL:)

My Edition 30 is standard apart from a remap which can be turned off if necessary.  However, I'm not near Leighton Buzzard so it would be better to let someone nearer do it if they want.  If necessary I may be willing though.  Is it for personal use or a magazine feature?
