New owner... well, nearly

Hi all

Laid down deposit on a 5dr GTI today in Blue Graphite, collect it on Friday.

Fell in love with the colour, reminded me of a mates old Helios Mk2 GTI, and was great on the test drive. First venture into VW ownership, although used to own a Leon TDi FR.

Look forward to sharing some experiences and photos on here.

Nice colour as well. I haven't seen many of them on the road - probably rarer then the white IMO!

2 months in now and love the car. Couple of interior changes (GTI seat inserts, Golf Ball gear knob) and now waiting for a bonus at work in order to pick up Revo Stage 1 and get a scratch on the drivers side door sorted out.

Each time I look out the window I smile. Each time I drive it the smile becomes an inane laugh!!  :laugh:

Pics up shortly, once i've cleaned it. Already gleaned no end of info from the boards, so thanks.

had mine around a month now, you will not regret it. awsome car handles like its on rails.  :driver: welcome (is it a bit soon for me to welcome coz im new myself  :booty:)
