As others have said, it may be a multitude of things... Best not to speculate and get it to a dealer.

It could be a simple ECU re-flash is required?

Called the dealers to see if it needs an update.
They said it doesnt show on the system as needing one
The car is standard with no mods

No warranty I'm afraid, just need a good understanding of the best way forward.
Dont want to plough a load of cash into investigation work to learn nothing.
Anybody else with any experiences to share?
