Does this seem to only happen on the back tyres or have people seen this problem on the front? Anyone tried to move the out of shape tyres to the front to see if this makes any difference to the noise? Gutted that I just purchased two new SportMax for the front to match the part worn rears! Also, anyone had any response from Dunlop on why this is happening to their tyres? Surely if we can get a few cases it might be worth approaching them or Watchdog.

Only way to cure is to totally get shot of the Dunlops, use them as Garden flower pots Swopping from back to front will only make the noise worse. Ive tried that before when i had my old Pescara's refurbed.
You wont be able to tell robin about the tyre wear. If you take the tyre off and run a straight edge accross the tread, then you will see the stepping stone effect matie.
